This is a programme by Wajda School & Studio which helps you to work on your next film. During three working sessions in Warsaw you will improve a scenario, define visual concept, choose actors and location, and shoot two scenes from the future film. At every stage, famous European directors and screenwriters will help you as tutors. The programme will cover the expenses for preparation and shooting as well as accommodation of your creative team in Poland.

Can I apply?

This is a programme for directors who have released their first feature or several shorts.

In order to be accepted by EKRAN+, you should also include to your team: the writer or co-writer of the script, the producer committed to the project, the director of photography you intend to work with.

What do I need to apply?
Completed application form which includes:
  • CVs of all team members
  • Feature film treatment of 10 page maximum 
  • Proposal of two scenes from treatment/script with two-three actors maximum
  • A letter of commitment from the producer or the producer’s production company
  • Links with the director’s work
