Central and Eastern European Animation Forum: call for entries

This is an opportunity to present your work at the leading regional event for the animation industry. You can submit the entry in such categories:
- Short Films
- TV Series and Specials
- Feature Films
- XR immersive media
- Rising stars: student films
You will pitch your project and discuss it face to face with the industry experts. The organisers will help you to get prepared and introduce you to the journalists. The projects must be in development or the production stage.
The Forum will take place in May or June 2021. Due to the pandemic, it could be held online. The decisions about dates and format will be announced at the beginning of 2021.
CEE Animation is supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme of the EU. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?

Can I apply?
This is a contest for tandems of director and producer or other holder of the rights including the right to present the project to the public and to publish information about it.
In the "Rising stars" category, entries can be submitted by the university or by the student.

What do I need to apply?
Completed application form that includes:
- Initial data of the project
- Logline and synopsis
- Samples of visual style and main characters
- Information about producer, production company, director or scriptwriter of the project, including selected filmographies
- Estimated budget
- List of confirmed subsidies, co-production investments and other funding sources

Good to know
- This is a contest for projects at all stages of development except for the concept stage. Only in the Feature Films category, you can apply with a concept.
- Upon selection of the project, applicants have to pay the fee to cover their accommodation, accreditations for the Forum and the International Festival of Animated Films Anifilm, transport to the festival and back.
- If you apply for the "Rising stars" category you don’t have to pay the fee.
