A digital lab unites art managers who want to hold international residencies in Ukrainian regions.
You will obtain essential knowledge about each stage of organising residencies and immediately put your new skills to use: you will create a new project for a residency or think of an initiative to brighten up an existing one. International experts will be here to advise and assist.
We are looking for managers that will not only create the project, but also carry it out and are ready to support the best five ideas with EUR 1,000 on implementation.
What do I get?
- A space and support to draft a project for a new art residency or an initiative to advance one you are currently working on, including the budget and timeline
- Honest feedback about your project from experts and advice on how to further it
- A chance to get EUR 1,000 that will be the seed capital or support in carrying out your project
- Fundamental knowledge about the management of international art residencies, as well as insight on hot-button issues
- Lectures by experts from the EU and Ukraine, supported by real-life case studies
- Contacts among people that work in the same field as you
What is the schedule?
The digital lab will launch at the end of January or the beginning of February 2021, and will last for two weeks.
- During the first week, you will have daily lectures from 14.00 to 19.00.
- During the second week, you will consult the experts individually, prepare the project and pitch it.

This laboratory is for you if you:
- Have at least one year of experience in the sphere of arts and culture as an art manager, curator, artist or in another capacity
