COVID-19: co-financing for civil society
These are grants for civil and charity organisations supporting philanthropy and establishing relations with local communities, authorities, the private sector. You can get up to UAH 320,000 of additional financing for creating the volunteer service for lonely elderly people, crowdfunding platform, information campaign on COVID-19 prevention or another project to strengthen communities in the face of new challenges.
The duration of the project is from three to 12 months. Acceptance of project proposals is ongoing, applications are considered monthly.
This contest is initiated by The Initiative Center to Support Social Action "Ednannia" and funded by the European Union.
From UAH 64,000 to 320,000 for project realisation.
This sum can cover 40% of expenses, the rest should be collected through fundraising in the community no later than three months after confirming project support and signing the contract.
- Are officially registered according to the Law of Ukraine "On Public Associations" and the Law of Ukraine “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organisations”
- Have legal entity status
- Have non-profitable status (only non-profit codes 0032, 0034, 0036, 0038, 0039 або 0048)
- Have an experienced team that will cope with the proposed project
- Application form completed in Ukrainian. Describe the mission, areas of work and experience of your organisation, explain how you plan to raise funds for co-financing and what results you expect to achieve
- For organisations that plan purchasing the medical equipment, other professional narrow-profile equipment, means of protection — letters of support form hospitals confirming the need for such purchases
- If the application needs the refinement, the programme managers will notify you and open this opportunity in the system.
- The project must be realised during 2020-2022.
- The organisation can submit any number of applications, but only one application with the highest number of points will be supported.
- Organisators arrange online informational sessions about the contest. Schedule of the sessions is published on their website.
