COVID-19: grants for civil society

These are grants for civil society organisations aimed to resist the challenges and continue to meet the needs of communities under stricter quarantine restrictions. You can get up to UAH 480,000 for a project in one of the following spheres:

  • advocacy
  • providing services to increase a resilience of communities (including vulnerable groups)
  • joining forces of civil society organisations

 
The duration of the project is from three to 12 months. Acceptance of project proposals is ongoing, applications are considered monthly.
 
This contest is initiated by The Initiative Center to Support Social Action "Ednannia" and funded by the European Union. 

What do I get?
From UAH 64,000 to 480,000 to cover consulting, information, transport services, purchasing of equipment and other costs for project implementation. 
Can I apply?
This contest is for civil society organisations that: 
  • Are officially registered according to the Law of Ukraine "On Public Associations" and the Law of Ukraine “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organisations” 
  • Have legal entity status
  • Have non-profitable status (only non-profit codes 0032, 0034, 0036, 0038, 0039 або 0048)
  • Have an experienced team that will cope with the proposed project
What do I need to apply?
  • Self-assessment of organisational development (has to be filled in via online-cabinet before applying)
  • Application form completed in Ukrainian. Describe the mission, areas of work, and experience of your organisation, provide the activity plan, budget, and expected results
  • For organisations engaged in advocacy or planning advocacy projects — assessment of advocacy capacity

Good to know
  • If the application needs the refinement, the programme managers will notify you and open this opportunity in the system.
  • The project must be realised during 2020-2022. 
  • Organisators arrange online informational sessions about the contest. Schedule of the sessions is published on their website
