Grants from the Human Rights Fund for civil society
These are grants for civil society organisations that protect and promote human rights in Ukraine. You can get up from UAH 1,500 000 to 3,500 000 on a project up to 24 months related to one of these sectors:
- Freedom of expression and internet freedom
- Freedom of religion and belief
- Equal rights for LGBTI
- Equal rights for women and girls
- Human rights defenders
- International rule of law and combating impunity
The contest is organised by the Human Rights Fund of The Dutch Government, which has been operating in Ukraine since 2010. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukrainians.
- Are registered according to the Ukrainian legislation
- Have an adequate track record, proven management capacity, and expertise in the selected sectors
- Are in operation for at least one year
Twinning with Dutch civil society organisations may be considered.
Application form completed in English with a font size not smaller than Verdana 9. Provide info on your organisation, describe the project idea, goals, and partners, analyse the risks.
If your application is successful, you will need to prepare a more detailed description later.
- Projects focused on the protection of the rights of Roma, Crimean Tartars and other minority groups can be supported if they fall under one of the priorities of the HRF Programme.
