This is a chance to win up to 11,000 EUR to invite British artists to your visual arts festival or vice versa to present Ukrainian artists in the UK. You will have almost a year and a half to implement your idea in any country where the British Council works.

What do I get?
  • Up to 11,000 EUR (9,500 GBP) to present work, add a performance to the programme or invite artists to a residency. The grant will cover travel, creation, production, skills development and networking costs
  • Additional 3,000 EUR (2,500 GBP) if you invite artists with disabilities
Can I apply?

This competition is for biennials and festivals that:

  • Work in the field of visual arts
  • Create a space for collaboration between British and Ukrainian artists
  • Want to discover new names or present new works by artists they have already collaborated with
What do I need to apply?
  • Completed application: tell us about your festival, events, audience and risks
  • Budget
  • One confirmation letter with the names and signatures of all participants
How do I apply?
Fill out the online form by 14 September. Results will be announced in fall.
Good to know
  • This competition is for organisations, not individual artists.
  • Organisations that invite professionals or are planning an event in countries that receive development aid will be given preference. If your project does not involve these countries, you can receive up to 5,500 GBP to implement your idea.
