This is an opportunity to receive EUR 5,000 to implement a digital solution to improve your community.

Take on electronic services for citizens, open databases, digital channels of communication between the government and the community, or tell Ukrainian civil servants about the latest changes in EU digital legislation — you will have eight months to implement your idea in Ukraine, the EU, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, or Moldova.

What do I get?
  • Individual training, coaching and EUR 5,000 to cover events, promotional costs and travel. You will also be able to pay for the work of an accountant, rent of office space and legal services for opening an account, as long as these costs do not exceed 10% of the total budget
  • Membership in the Alumni community. It means more opportunities, networking and a personal brand of a changemaker
Can I apply?

This competition is for you if you: 

  • Are of full age
  • Work for a Ukrainian public organisation or have work experience in this field
  • Have the citizenship of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia or Moldova
  • Speak English at the B1 level according to CEFR
  • Have never participated in this programme before
What do I need to apply?
  • Concept form completed in English
  • CV. Find guidelines on creating a good CV on the Europass website
  • Motivation letter
  • Description of the project: actions needed for its implementation, communication strategy, expected results and team
  • Budget
  • A copy of passport or ID 
  • A certificate confirming your English level
  • If so, a recommendation letter

How do I apply?

Please complete a short online form by 30 December. If your application is successful, the organisers will ask you to provide more information about the project and attach a complete package of documents by 7 February.

Please take your time, as applications are being processed on a rolling basis. The winners will be communicated in March 2025.

Good to know
  • You can submit only one application.
  • This scholarship is for individuals, not legal entities and organisations.
  • Organisers will prefer projects aimed at solving environmental problems and protecting the climate.
  • The scholarship supports activists from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova. You can apply to implement a project in one of these countries.
  • The scholarship will not cover any payments to you or your management or equipment purchase.
  • You must implement the project by October 2025.
