These are grants funding academic collaboration of universities from Ukraine and Sweden. You will get up to SEK 1,000,000 to cover the organisation of conferences and workshops, traineeships, study visits, communication, salaries, visas, and other project-related expenses.
 
Grants are provided by the Swedish Institute. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?
  • Between SEK 100,000 — 300,000 to establish a new partnership, prepare for a larger project, or carry out a limited pilot project during a year. Category Seed project. 
  • Between SEK 500,000 — 1,000,000 to implement an already developed project idea during 18 months with a partner you have worked together before. Category Collaborative project. 
Can I apply?
This is an opportunity for partnerships of Ukrainian and Swedish universities. 
 
If you apply for the Collaborative project category, you have to involve a partner from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, or Russia. 
What do I need to apply?
  • Application form  completed. Describe your project’s purpose, main activities, budget, roles and responsibilities in the team. 
  • Partner enclosures from each partner university with confirmation of their support and commitment to the project. 

The main applicant is Swedish university, but the application should be prepared jointly together in the partnership.
 

How do I apply?
Swedish partner has to register on the portal and complete the application in English. 
 
Partner enclosures may also be sent to si@si.se at the latest by 7 October 2021. Don’t forget to include the reference number of the project in the email headline.
