These are grants for organisations in Ukraine and the UK to collaborate on digital artistic projects. It can be virtual art residency, conference, exhibition or showcase, online art and cultural archives, digital games, augmented and virtual reality formats. You can get from GBP 10, 000 to 50, 000 for a project in one of the following categories: 

  • Research and development grants: proposals for new virtual collaboration projects
  • Restart grants: for existing projects that are currently on pause due to COVID-19, to help organisations restart them via digital means 
  • Collaboration grants: for new projects with a focus on virtual collaboration and other new ways of working

What do I get?

From GBP 10, 000 to 20,000 for a small project, and from GBP 40, 000 to 50, 000 for a large project. 

You can spend it on staff salary, equipment and materials, promotion, evaluation and other needs for project realisation. 

Can I apply?

These grants are for tandems of Ukrainian and UK organisations which must:

  • Focus on art and culture
  • Be legally registered
  • Have registered business bank accounts

There must be one lead applicant, but this does not need to be the UK organisation. 

What do I need to apply?
  • Completed online application form. Provide information about collaborating organisations, describe the innovativeness, positive contribution and sustainability of your project, audience and detailed budget plan
  • Equality Diversity and Inclusivity monitoring form (UK applicants only)
How do I apply?
Submit the online form together with your partner organisation.
Good to know
  • The organisators expect applications for multilateral projects, with the focus on the programme being delivered mutually across the UK and in a partner country. 
  • Higher education organisations with an arts and culture focus also can apply. 
  • All applicants will be notified by 9 December 2020.
