This is a fellowship for young Ukrainian scholars from the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna. You will receive a stipend and pursue your research project for six months.
The fellowship will be held between September 2022 and June 2023.
This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukrainians.

What do I get?
- A monthly stipend of EUR 1,800
- An office including access to internet, in-house research and administrative facilities as well as other services free of charge
- Networking and participation in the activities of the Institute.
Can I apply?
This scholarship is for you if you are:
- Up to 35 years
- Enrolled in a doctoral programme in the humanities or social sciences or have recently obtained a PhD in the same fields
- The citizen of Ukraine
What do I need to apply?
Completed application form that includes:
- Project proposal of 7.500 characters maximum
- Motivation letter
- CV
- List of publications
- Two letters of recommendation by scholars familiar with your academic work
