International cooperation grants
This opportunity is perfectly suitable for:
Organisations registered in Ukraine or the EU
■ In cooperation with one or more organisation(s) registered in the EU or Ukraine
■ Organisations from an Eastern Partnership country (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova) can be an additional partner.
■ With a proven track record of previously implemented cultural projects
■ With the will to jointly conceive and implement a project
What is it all about?
■ Funds international cooperation and coproduction projects developed and run jointly by Ukrainian and EU (or Eastern Partnership) organisations.
■ Enhances the international visibility and networks of Ukrainian cultural actors, fosters dialogue and mutual understanding, and deepens collaboration between Ukrainian and EU (or Eastern Partnership) cultural organisations.
In particular, it supports
■ Initiatives of dialogue and intellectual exchange in areas such as, but not limited to, history, archives, critical thinking, human rights, social inclusion, gender equality, etc.
■ Coproductions in fields such as, but not limited to, theatre, cinema, visual arts, etc.
First, a concept note including
■ A description of your project idea
■ Information about your and the partnering organisation(s) and the estimated cost of the project
If selected for the second stage of the application process:
■ Detailed outline of your project
■ Detailed budget plan
■ Implementation plan
■ Communication plan
■ Supporting documents
■ All organisations involved must be registered legal entities.
■ All organisations involved must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and a proven track of successfully implemented cultural projects.
■ Either a Ukrainian organisation (with EU or Eastern Partnership country partner organisation) or an EU organisation (with a Ukrainian partner organisation) can apply. The applying organisation is responsible for project implementation and reporting.
■ Your organisation can be funded only once through a House of Europe international cooperation grant.
■ However, your organisation may still apply for other House of Europe opportunities.
■ If unsuccessful, your organisation can apply in the next call, updating your initial project proposal.
■ Co-funding is not requested, but strongly encouraged.
